4. One shame was pier 39, what has happended to it? tacky and cheap its become, fridge magnets, grab toys machines and tacky irish ( yes irish ) souvenirs for sale and lots of other totally irelevant shops/gifts.

6. What a fabulous location, and lovely decor (maritime theme is not normally my 'thing' but somehow the Argonaut have struck a perfect balance so its not tacky.

8. The hotel is at the end of fishermans wharf, which is a strangely tacky area, lots of tourist shops and not to much else.

9. Fishermans Wharf is rather tacky with souviner shops by the dozen, but with 2 trolley turnarounds and the electric F line Trams its a great starting location for the sights, many ferry trips and views of Alcatraz .
