1. After a truly difficult , which location decision, we chose the Argonaut and Fishermans Wharf.
"Great location for first time visitor! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/15/2012 Vote
2. One problem at the hotel (NOT the hotel's fault) is that it is very difficult to get a taxi there, so leave extra time to make your dinner reservations.
"Argonaut is delightful but a little touristy " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/25/2011 Vote
3. It was difficult to find a classy or romantic meal nearby, where you could get a table.
"Good 4 Star Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/26/2011 Vote
4. it actually meant we looked out across a few foot of flat roof straight into the wondow of the room opposite, we could barely even see the sky, so it made it difficult to see what the weather was like before going out.
"Nice hotel, superb location, fabulous city " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/27/2010 Vote
5. Not a bad visit but was hugely underwhelmed after reading other Tripadvisor postingsPositives:Hotel is well located for Fisherman's WharfStaff is friendly though very busy Breakfast at The Blue Mermaid is good and like the valet parking, worthwhile if included on a packageNegatives:Hotel lobby feels like a busy bus depot most of the timeConcierge is incredibly busy and doesn't work late so difficult to access help at busy timesBeds and sofa beds are not very firmWasn't asking for an upgrade as we were already booked into one of their premier suites but would have appreciated a celebratory card and bottle as these little gestures go a long way.
"A profoundly average experience " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/31/2010 Vote
6. Didn't see the cases again until we got to the room which was nice as it can be difficult checking in while looking after kids at the same time.
"Very Friendly Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/14/2010 Vote
7. (difficult when we had 2 young children) As the hotel was so busy we could not get moved until our third night.
"Do not be put off by staff on front desk! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/5/2010 Vote
8. The reason why I am posting this so early is because I know how difficult it is to find decent customer service from a hotel.
"So Excited! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/4/2009 Vote
9. The flaw that we found, and which makes it difficult to really appreciate a stay here, is that the building seems intrinsically noisy.
"Nice, but one serious flaw " Read full review on Travelocity   2/1/2009 Vote
10. My ONLY complaints (and they are super minimal) were: (1) I called down in the morning to ask for a couple of extra bath towels and they took 45 minutes to arrive (and I had to call again about them); (2) the valet we had didn't speak English very well and had a difficult time understanding both us (when we needed to get an umbrella out of the parked car) and how to work my Honda CRV.
"Maritime Luxury " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/13/2009 Vote
