1. our only bad comment about the hotel was that for some reason you could everything that was going on in the rooms next door but as we were hardly in this did not really spoil our lovely stay.

4. Go stay at the Ritz or Fairmont or something comparable in price to this before paying for bad service.

6. Our taxi ride from SFO to to Argonaut around 7pm (so not too bad for rush hour) cost my hubby & I $55 plus tip.

7. Fisherman's Wharf gets a bad rap from locals, and there are some parts that are downright cheesy, but this hotel is nicely located adjacent to the water, a nice open-space park, a little beach area, great hiking up to the Golden Gate bridge, and walking distance from lots of non-cheesy things worth seeing.

8. This normally leads to delays and bad tempers but the staff were fantastic and extremely efficient, booking us in manually so that they could finish off the process later.

10. Not sure I can add to what already has been said - read the reviews and make your own mind up (although I can only assume the bad reviews were given by people who got out of bed the wrong side.
