I'm not sure if it's because we were in a room with connecting doors but it was
ridiculous

He told me that they were refreshing the rooms and were supposed to start at 8am which is still
ridiculous
to be paying close to $200 for a night to be woken up by construction.

We brought our two dogs with us, and not only did the hotel staff (especially the doormen) go out of their way to make us feel welcome, they were all
ridiculous
ly friendly and loving to our dogs, as well.

My only negative thought is the $39 valet parking fee, (they actually imposed an additional $5 tax on the parking fee, which seemed
ridiculous
), but the hotel`s central location made that easier to swallow.
