3. As a result we moved accross straight away - initially to just 2 rooms and then changed over to interconnecting rooms the next day - the staff were very helpful (although communication was a bit lacking).

Again, I don't know the price of the hotel, and I'm sure there are cheaper and more expensive hotels around the same area, but the location was perfect, and even a lack of quality service couldn't ruin our weekend in San Francisco, because being there with my husband made the trip absolutely perfect anyway.
