1. The rooms are ok, but far from exciting or luxurious, and the housekeeping was quite disappointing (never replace water, left cleaning supplies in the room, didn't replace all the towels) but like my last stay - I'm a huge fan of IPO.

2. Only one little disappointment, fancy hotels shouldn't be charging for WiFi--that is no longer a luxury, but an expectation, a given in today's world.

3. I had a bad experience with Concierge at the Lakeshore the day before, and this left me disappointed and wondering why ever go to a Concierge if they don't make the effort to help you and make you feel like other things are more important than your time? Laurelin Hefter, the W Insider at this property restored my trust by giving me recommendations for lunch, and I not only had lunch but also dinner at the places recommended.

4. I returned back to this property two nights later for New Years Eve, and arrived earlier than expected as the W Lakeshore (sold out for NYE) disappointed on many levels.
