2. Nothing to do with keeping the 'old spirit' because those things have nothing to do with history are just poor details that may not appear to everybody but were definitely disturbing our general feeling about the hotel.

3. It was absolutely mobbed on Fri and Sat night and v loud in the bar, restaurant and lobby - but we weren't disturbed by this up on the 12th floor ( room had great views too.
