1. hard to find a concierge - I tried 3 times, unsuccessfully.

3. Food in the restaurants was also very good and the location of the hotel would be hard to beat in Chicago as it is located just off the Magnificent Mile in the hub of everything.

5. Perfect location , perfect service , perfect rooms , nothing to complain about , quite the opposite , it will be hard to find a better hotel in Chicago , or elsewhere for that matter.

6. In the morning I arose early and asked the front desk where I could get a bagel and coffee (I didn't feel like spending $20+ again), and they have their own cafe alright, its outside, at the corner of the street, sporting a very limited menu, stark atmosphere ('danish'), hard seats, etc.

7. Don't get me wrong, the restaurant is nice, even elegant, but tries hard to be unnecessarily expensive.

9. A guest relations manager, LeeAnn Brown, saw to it that we were set up comfortably,and took it upon herself to dig around the city for some childhood treats I requested (for me) consisting of the candy 'Chuckles' which are hard to find these days, fannie may pixies, and Jay's potato chips, all of which are unique to Chicago.
