1. Because it is in the centre of town there is some street noise (Chicago seems like a particularly loud city), but that's to be expected.

4. With the hospital across the street it can get loud from the ambulances blowing their horns at cars that won't move; at night, when there's less traffic, it's not a problem.

8. A few things we didn't like:loud sirens in the middle of the night: You'll find this in any city and this is not fault of the hotel.

9. The doors auto-deadbolt when you close the door and while it gives you added safety, it makes a loud 'clack' no matter how gently you close the door.

10. - I had thought that the neighbors were allowing their doors to slam behind them, but I later realized that the door locking mechanism is just really loud.
