Although well kept and everything works, everything about this hotel is small and
cramped

The rooms are smaller than you'd find in most chain motels, but hardly what I would consider
cramped

a boutique hotel in Manhattan made me think of

Our only and biggest gripe was that the bedroom, though quiet, was very
cramped
, had no natural light and a very noisy AC unit (no opening windows which we didn't expect) which kept us awake.

ok the room was fairly small as NY hotel rooms do tend to be, but it never felt really
cramped
, and it was very clean and well maintained during our stay.

Tip - if you can use the stairs that lead up from the restaurant to get to your room then do - much nicer and grander than the narrow
cramped
corridors that lead to/from the elevator (and all that horrid swirly plaster on the walls.

The room itself was small and
cramped
with a window air-conditioner, so I wouldn`t recommend it for the summer.
