2. I arrived to DIRTY sheets, curtains that wouldn't close, no shower gel, no snacks at the mini bar, no complimentary bottled water, the bathroom tiles had grout all over them, chips in the furniture, patches of paint peeling from the walls, stains on the carpeting and scratches on the floor.

3. Some aspects of the bathroom were very worn, such as tiles around the shower area had lost their colour and had been faded/chipped and looked old and untidy.
