1. Elevators can be slow because of the system but we were very happy especially w discounted ratesIncidentally if u want to avoid tourist trap restaurants ,just walk 2 long blocks to 9th Avenue for a wide variety of ethnic small restaurants.

6. I choose to walk up to 8th Avenue to get where I needed to go, (August WIlson Theater) therefore avoiding the large crowds and making for easier and faster paced walking.
