1. My room was tiny and dark with one small window looking out into an air shaft, but not uncomfortable, and I had a nice and immaculately clean bathroom.

3. Being accustomed to overpriced midtown hotels with micro-sized rooms, snotty staff and uncomfortable beds, the Iroquois was a welcomed change.

4. The only thing that we found disappointing on both occasions was the hotel bar, perhaps we were just unlucky but on two occasions it did seem that we were intruding on the staff having a catch up and as it was uncomfortable for us to be there we left to go to another bar nearby.

9. But that minor complaint (and it really wasn`t too uncomfortable once you ran a hot shower) and some painting they did on an elevator while we were there that had incredibly strong odors are the only negatives associated with our stay .
