1. As well, getting around Manhattan was easy, as the hotel is only 4 or 5 blocks from Grand Central, or other subway stops if you want to avoid Grand Central.
"Fantastic location and beautiful hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/26/2011 Vote
2. The hotel is located just a few blocks from Times Square, but far enough away to allow us to avoid the chaos when we wanted to.

3. When asked how much the Hotel was profitting from this charge, the concierge , Alan stammered his way though an unconvincing speech that the driver gets the whole amount whilst avoiding eye contact -I think his body action speaks for itself.
"Quiet Location. Nice hotel. Has potential, but didn't live up to the expectations " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/3/2011 Vote
4. Pros:- Comfortable room (but small, usual for NYC) with modern amenities - Comfortable bed and sheets- Restaurant was very good for dinner (but quiet and uncrowded)- Convenient - blocks to major subway lines to easily get uptown or downtown- Blocks to Times Square, Rockefeller Center and other major mid town attractions- Helpful staffDrawbacks:- avoid room 304 as it is next to the fitness center; we were awakened around 4 or 5 in the morning by pounding on the treadmill and subsequent rattling from a loosened air vent - No lobby bar or much of a lobby (go next door to Algonquin Hotel Oak Room or across street to Royalton)-Lobby music - bad, bad, bad.
"Comfortable, basic mid town hotel in outstanding location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/29/2010 Vote
5. A nice personal touch was the little cards left in our room every evening with details of what the weather would be like the next day: very useful if you want to avoid taking the Circle Line harbour tour in driving snow.
"The complementary apple cider is to-die-for! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/7/2009 Vote
6. The only thing good about this place was the bellmen (who were very friendly every time I went in and out and really had personality they didn't seem to be putting on an act) and the hot cider in the lobby otherwise avoid this place.
"Horribly Small Rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/22/2009 Vote
7. (And yes, I told the girl at the front desk I am going to write about my experience, so others could learn to avoid this hotel,to no avail).
"Double bed, for two adults in a hotel that charges $ 425 per night " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/4/2007 Vote
8. The hotel`s location near times square, is extremely hectic, and probably should be avoided if you don`t like crowds.
"Small but luxurious rooms and great service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/29/2007 Vote
9. The Frette robes were yellowed all over and really threadbare in places, the door handle came off the bathroom door, so we had to leave that open to avoid being locked in.
"Disappointed with the Iroquois " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/13/2006 Vote
