Aside from the welcome gift of fruit, nuts, and chocolates, there was a large flat screen TV, comfy bed, safe, mini-bar, desk, and a chair, but as two people we felt a bit
cramped
.

The plusses are the great staff, lovely cocktail bar and delicious and perfect Eggs Benedict in the restaurant; the negatives are the slightly
cramped
library (only has seating for around four people), the cocktail bar was closed on Sunday night and the two lifts are really slow.

Our room was a little more
cramped
than I remember and the lift seemed slower than before, but I do love the hotel.

Imagine our further disappointment when we arrived in a somewhat
cramped
room with one tiny window facing a brick wall about four feet away.

The rooms are
cramped
, even the exec kingsize felt more like a standard room, but everything was there that you would need.

However, it was a bit
cramped
New York-style, too.

Our first room was exquisitely decorated and had a delicious bathroom and an enormous flat-screen tv; but was a little

Our room had a really comfortable bed, plasma screen, sumptuous furnishing/bedding, molton brown toiletries each morning etc etc, but it was an odd shape and a touch
cramped

Indeed, one can often book a suite at the Iroquois -- with a not-at-all-
cramped
living room doored off from the graciously-sized bedroom & a bath which includes both a soaking tub and separate, walk-in shower -- for less than a standard room at many better known hotels.
