7. While the Kiahuna is on beautiful, soft sand Poipu beach, it is at the end of the beach, not at Poipu Beach Park (the bay area) and the water was just a bit rough for our children, especially our youngest (5).

9. The resort had lots of large green spaces where kids were playing ball and hanging out so it did seem like a kid-friendly spot even though I thought the beach was a little rough for kids.
