1. The HALES as they call the buildings are set up in a 'U' 1-8 with #4 in the back an 1 an 8 towards the front by the ocean if you can get a garden facing room you cant go wrong as the grounds are beautiful, ocean front as many meanings here from what I heard, unless in Hale 1 or 8 may want to verify what your looking at, we were in building 6 floor 3 so room was 6302, which was back facing over public park green area an the start of the public beach parking area but had a nice ocean view above all of that.

2. The first is that this is a family oriented beach resort - if you expect sumptuous meals delivered to your room or hallways free of people returning from their snorkel/swim excursions then you have come to the wrong place.

4. Luckily, I checked with a second source - the directions and hand drawn line on the map that the clerk gave me was wrong and I would have become quite lost had I followed the clerk's directions.

5. There is nothing wrong with the property, it has great grounds, sits on a nice beach, has a good location, the rooms are great and the pool really nice, if you like pools, but it is very overpriced compared to other properties in Poipu.
