1. With it being Easter week, the facility didn't seem overly crowded or noisy (except for the roosters).

2. Wasn't to bad but when kids are let out to play at 7am in the morning it can get a little noisy in the play areas a bit to early for us that are more inclined to want to sleep in.

3. Also, if you don't like noisy roosters, go elsewhere.
"Wonderful place, but have to fight for the desired room location. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2010 Vote
4. They are motel style, though, with exterior tiled hallways which seem to encourage noisy running children and bags of trash.
"Newport Beach in Hawaii " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/21/2007 Vote
5. This place was the exact opposite -- very compact, lots of hustle and bustle, noisy.
"Crowded, expensive and nothing special " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/24/2006 Vote
6. I might quibble with some of their design choices (the acid colors of the rooms get to you after a few days, the showers are cramped, the way the buildings surround a common area makes for a noisy, dormitory atmosphere, and the bland hallways make me think 'public housing crossed with county hospital'), but everything was clean and new-looking.
"Sales agents from hell! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/3/2005 Vote
7. The parking lot for Poipu Beach is noisy and not real great to look at, and on the other back side is the rundown Poipu Beach Hotel scheduled to be rebuilt I was told, but an eyesore nontheless.
"The Waiohai is great for a low key vacation. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/1/2005 Vote
