Areas for opportunity: the mattresses (lumpy); the hotel gym - totally
dated
and so dinky (low ceilings and equipment so close people are practically falling on top of each other and/or smelling each other's sweat); and the hotel's marketplace- really substandard gift shop-totally yech product selection.

Besides, he should only be out his deposit (which I hope Marriott would refund since he was so confused) as the balance is required at the time you select your reserved
date
s, after you receive complete information by mail, in writing.
