1. Just off the beach we saw a HUGE sea turtle (if you love Black rock on Kaanapali for snorkeling you will enjoy this as well).

You have to remember this is saying something because of course since this is Hawaii it was formed from lava and many shoreline areas are black rock (lava) many times possibly with little or no beach area which is a real thing to watch and be careful about if you are interested in beach time for your trip.

We used points (we are not an owner) and are thrilled with the beauty of the resort (the grounds are spectacular), the service (everyone is so nice and helpful), the rooms (very nice and have everything you need in them), the amenities (the pools are literally rock pools, most are saltwater, and the massages in the outdoor cabana were heavenly) and the experience as a whole.

10. It rained most of our trip but we still had a great time - FYI the snorkeling right there on the hotel beach was just as good as the beach house or Lyndgate just go over to the left by the rocks.
