1. I don't know who bought over the first live chicken/rooster to Kauai but they should be shot as they are a bit of a noise issue an not welcomed like pigeons in some areas.

8. There are not so flexible about check out times and tend to reserve the prime ocean front units for timeshare members, (even if you're paying for it) but this is a small issue compared to the overall value we found.

9. the only thing missing was some spectacular snorkeling - it was quite windy while we were there, which kept it cool, but also created visibility issues in the water.

10. Usually we split two weeks between Kauai and the Big Island, but this past October we did two weeks in Kauai and apart from the rain (we've been coming here for 20 years and this is the FIRST time we had an issue with the weather), it was awesome.
