1. The room was spotless and cleaned everyday, if required, but we didn't bother as we only used it to sleep and wash in so had the 'Do Not disturb' sign out quite a bit.

We inadvertently left our 'do not disturb' sign on the door when we went out for the day, and when we returned in the evening, a very kind housekeeping attendant said to us 'I did not want to disturb your room, but if you'd like I can step in and straighten it for you very quickly'- it was kind and unexpected and in my opinion 'beyond the call of her duties.

4. Even though I have a do not disturb sign at the door, the maid kept knocking on the door to ask me when I am gonna check out and it's not even noon yet.

6. The last part (and I can't even believe I am frustrated about this but I think it was just topping on the cake) I decided to put 'do not disturb' on my door because I didn't want my room cleaned.

7. Granted, we didn't have do not disturb signs on the door, but it would have been nice if they had made more of an effort to make sure no one was in the room before walking in, especially after it had already happened a few times.
