The pool was filthy, the towels were like rags, our room had sticky carpet, the shower didn't work (and when it did the water was brown), the flush on the toilet was
broken
and the TV didn't work properly.

Lastly, during our stay (we stayed on the 10th Floor), the 6th floor was flooded with water from a
broken
pipe and the entire lobby was wet and slippery.

And the buildings next to the hotel looked like they have been bombed (they were totally destroyed) and it was not very nice to be by the pool, look around and see
broken
windows in the very next buildin.

My three day stay was perfect the elevator is still
broken
but the buffet is great and just the whole entire atmosphere of the hotel and its staff would make me pick Riu again if I go back to south beach.
