1. One incident could be overlooked, but it was accompanied by so many other examples of poor service like trying to get the staff of the pool bar's attention to ask about getting coffee after they failed to acknowledge my standing there while they finished their personal conversation.

2. The furniture was in dire need of replacement, the shower door did a very poor job of keeping water off the floor, as a matter of fact I needed to call the maid to bring more towels just so I could mop up the floor.

4. Room given was on the 3rd floor, with the view of the airconditioning ducts (perhaps bad luck) room was average size, quality of fitting and finishes was poor, considering the apparent renovations.

6. Very good service at Roosevelt hotel and I regret that I didn't stay there the whole time instead of traveling to loews santa Monica hotel who gave us a very poor service experience.

9. We weren't distracted by Hollywood Blvd traffic, but the sound isolation between rooms was poor: in the morning our neighbor woke us up with her coughing.
