1. Our second room was much better, however still a bit noisy - hammering noises came from pipes and indoor renovation on another floor.

5. My room was slightly 'dated', with no refrigerator and the radiator style heater was noisy but this hotel offers a friendly staff and great location, for a really good price in the heart of Manhattan.

7. The first room we were checked into was on the ground floor next to a public toilet that seems to be used by patrons from the adjoining restaurant, was very noisy, cramped (no room for suitcases hardly) and the air con was too loud to have running at night.

8. If I could say one disadvantage might be that next door there is construction of a new building going up & the pipes in our room were a little noisy, but, for a New York City hotel, that didn't bother us.

9. Hotel staff, you need to warn people (at least once they have already booked and are about to try and get some rest at your hotel) that you have incredibly noisy construction next door.
