6. The hotel is an older one than many others on the Island, but has been remodeled with up to date amenities; microwave, small refrig, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer in bathroom and great A/C unit.

Forget asking about where to eat, we just had eyes rolled at us like 'not another stupid tourist'Cousins of mine stayed two doors down at the Kauai Sands - it's dated for sure, but not all that much worse than the Islander, and for less money you get two pools and the same location and amenities.
