1. Great place, ocean front room first floor, very low key and relaxing, when I complained about the charge for coffee I was handed a hand full.

2. But they were back up and running within 24 hours, so I can't complain too much, especially considering the volume of sand they probably have to deal with.
"Beautiful, clean and NO smoking allowed!! Yay!!!!!!!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/10/2011 Vote
3. Many reviews complain on car park but it's not a big issue at all.

4. Without another word, they moved us to the main building which leads me to believe they put people in the crappy building first and hope they don't complain.

5. The night manager, by the way, was of no help, and actually told me why don't you complain to tripadvisor when I asked he relay this to his managers.
"Nice room, nice grounds, parking disaster, hostile guards " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/26/2011 Vote
6. I complained because we had parked in the yellow with all the other cars that night, and then they called me back to re-park, because the guard was not outside handing out parking permits for the neighboring hotel when we came back.

7. On a previous night, when I complained to the night staff about the parking the same guy was hanging out chatting up the night manager at the front desk, and actually made up some BS about hotel parking not being guaranteed, when I told him I was unhappy because the hotel advertising said parking was included.

8. While some people will complain about the steep, tiny beach, once you get to Kauai and realize that there are very few beaches that will safely host the hoards of people that would normally fill them, you get an appreciation that you have beach access as well as a centrally located hotel on the island.
"A nice, centrally-located hotel at a more than fair price. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/23/2011 Vote
9. We complained and got, without any hassle, a room on the second floor we really liked, as we had a nice view form our balcony onto the ocean.
"Good location! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/18/2011 Vote
10. Many people complained about parking after 5pm before I booked this hotel, but it seems they have solved the problem - guests can park at a parking lot next door without any charges.
"Good location, small swimming pool " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/17/2011 Vote
