3. When the 2 of us complained to the hotel they said they would send a private shuttle for the 2 of us however that private shuttle never came (or maybe it did but finally the normal shuttle did arrive which we were able to get on albeit 55 minutes later)---As Hilton Honors Gold, I had free Internet however if you aren't Hilton Honors Gold you have to pay for Internet---Parking is extremely expensive ($21 + tax) even for visitors.

5. we were part of a group travelling by a bus and therfore did not have to pay for parkingwhich is expensive.

6. i spend the morning researching how to get out of canyon land (lax North) and found there were options taxi's rail or bus but they were either very expensive or time consuming.

7. You can get around LA easy enough without the expense of cabs if you plan it out and the free shuttle is a big help.

8. The majority of our sightseeing was north of the city (Hollywood, Burbank) so we should have stayed up in that area even if the hotels were more expensive.

There are parking spots within the property gates along the perimeter of the hotel where you can park before going down into the garage - not as convenient, but better than parking on the street or in another lot where they offered to cover the charge (although the neighboring lots are less expensive).
