1. After one night of walking around by the Clarendon, we headed back to the airport to get a rental car- an unexpected expense :( The area directly around the hotel includes some not-so-great abandoned lots, and neighborhoods.

7. It's a solid 3 star hotel that offers many items items found at larger more expensive 5 star hotels like the great beds and Aveda bath products.

10. We had a very enjoyable lunch in the new restaurant and Ben Bethel came and spoke with us and said how pleased he was that he had a restaurant after the lengthy and expensive court battle the hotel had been through with previously independent restaurant owners.
