1. My two complaints are the shuttle, which was unreliable (anywhere from leaving 3 minutes early to 20 minutes late) and lack of non feather duvets (sleeping with a thin blanket isn't what I expect from the Marriott).

2. In a hotel with 900+ rooms there should be a proper maintenance schedule to take care of vent cleaning on a regular basis - apparently the Marriott Desert Ridge lacks such a maintenance problem.

3. After a few days we began to question the lack of an acceptable 'turn down' service, quality of bedding (especially the pillows) and overall cleanliness of our room.

4. All-in-all, the JW at Desert Ridge is a nice property, though when you compare it to other JWs that I've been to, it lacks some pizazz and panache.

5. Because of the hotel,s beauty, lack of crowds, wonderful pools - especially the lazy river with a slow current and free tube rafts that keep you cool - and inexpensive rates, I like the hotel in summer or off season times but anytime is nice.

6. The biggest downsides to the pool area are the hike to get to the bathrooms and the lack of lifeguards.
