2. We insisted the cabbie return it to the hotel and we even called the hotel to ensure they were aware of this and he did take it back, but it could've caused a real problem for some other poor unsuspecting person.

3. One problem is, the door of my room was not flush against the jamb when it's closed so whenever someone in a nearby rooms closed their door, my door shook noisily.

4. The rooms were clean but the hotel is slightly run down now and so there were a few problems with the air conditioning/heating, and the overall fascia of the room but nothing major.

5. Staff was okay but had a problem with a guy at the front desk but the name of Sam who for whatever reason, did not want to give me access to concierge although I am gold status with Marriott.

8. Only problem is that they are building across the street and even though I was put on the opposite side of the hotel, I was woken up by rumbling trucks at 6 am.

10. Friends who stayed at the Grand Hyatt and a number of complaints about problems with their room maintainence, making me glad I'd picked the Renaissance.
