1. The bath was large and generously supplied with bath essentials and towels.

2. The service is great, the rooms are clean, quiet and very comfortable (bedroom, bath, kitchen, and sitting area) and the location can't be beat - near two subway stations and numerous restaurants (including the one in the hotel which is quite good).

3. The place has been renovated but cut corners are pretty obvious - for instance my room had a nice tiled bath, but the cheapest sort of plastic toilet seat and I remember having better towels in high school gym class.

5. Check-in was highly efficient, and my room was extremely large - with a lounge area with sofa and hi-fi, a large bathroom (with bath) and a spacious double-bed area.

6. The king size bed was comfy and the radio tuned to classical music as we entered was a wonderful touch as well as the small bouquet of flowers in the roomy bath with an AWESOME showerhead.

7. The bathrooms would do credit to any hotel, provided the guest's wish is to use the bathroom for bathing etc., and not as a venue for a business conference, TV seance or social gathering.

9. No hair conditioner, no makeup mirror, no robe, thin/scruffy bath towels, only ice machine located on 2nd floor, but the worst sin of all - a pedestal style sink which leaves you no room to put your stuff.
