3. I found many homeless people sleeping in the streets but they didn't look like they would create disturbance to tourists.

4. The Pershing Park is located across the street, which provided a lovely location for our pets to marvel at the ducks and squirrels that inhabit the area; and a quick place to relieve themselves in the middle of the night.

5. Four elevators in the main lobby and two in the rear near the F Street entrance kept guests moving efficiently to their floors (after certain hours, the back elevators are not available and the main lobby elevators require a room card to initiate servcie-good security function!).

6. Also, there`s a drug store just a couple of blocks down the street that`s convenient for snacks, drinks, forgotten items, etc. - way cheaper than the hotel gift shop.

7. The hotel is within a 5-10 min walk to the Ford Theater and other museums near 8th Street.
