(main
street
with tons of shops and restaurants), marina, ocean view playgrounds, etc. It was so convenient to not have to be in and out of the car with our two little ones, made for a very relaxing trip.

The ONLY thing this place had going for it was the beachfront location, but I'd recommend staying down the
street
at the Hyatt for less money and a much better experience.

The location (across the
street
from the beach) is amazing and this is the only hotel I found that was directly on the water.

State
Street
is at the end of the Pier, and it's only a 10 minute (quite safe) walk up State
Street
to Bucatini Trattoria and Pizzeria on the right side, a reasonably priced (for Santa Barbara) outdoor people watching joy.

The location was definitely great - right across the beach and harbour, a quick walk to State
Street
, and walkable to many other areas like the Wharf.
