2. I enjoyed reading my book each afternoon by the refreshing pool and finished each night with a glass of wine at the fun bistro style tables just outside our room while we soaked up the last of the beautiful ocean view.

9. Being a displaced native California girl, my favorite parts of the trip were, (of course, the ocean), visiting the Santa Barbara mission with its connection to 'The Island of the Blue Dolphins' and early California history, but best of all, the City Hall, built in the 1920s.

10. We had a beautiful ocean view room on the 2nd floor, a Deluxe King with a separate sleeper sofa in a little alcove of a room with a door that shut to the main room.
