4. It is within walking distance to the beach, piers, downtown SB, the trolley picks up and drops off there (I think it cost 25 cents or something like that to ride it, beware, the cabs are EXPENSIVE.

8. The Harbor View in is pefectly located, across the street from the Santa Barbara Pier, just down the road from the Harbor, and just a few blocks to the downtown area of State Street, all easy walking distance if you don't mind a little bit of a walk.
