1. It cost almost $50 from the SB airport to the hotel.

2. It is within walking distance to the beach, piers, downtown SB, the trolley picks up and drops off there (I think it cost 25 cents or something like that to ride it, beware, the cabs are EXPENSIVE.

4. You will always have busy Cabrillo Blvd between you and the beach, and the Mountain View rooms at this hotel have a truly beautiful view, so it might not be worth the extra cost for an ocean view room, unless the ocean is a rare treat and it is really important to you.

5. Manners cost nothing, I appreciate they may not be well paid but they won't make much more in tips with that attitude either.
