The wireless internet is free (it should be free everywhere but too many hotels still
charge
for it) and I had no trouble picking up the network on my laptop, however, my iPad could not find it.

It's a bit of a rip off to pay an extra $13 night for parking since we know other places on this block don't
charge

It presumably is able to
charge
its high prices because it is in Santa Barbara in a relatively OK location .

Although this hotel has a beautiful view, and so much potential, it does not deserve the high $$ they
charge

The front desk staff ultimately gave me a rollaway bed at no extra
charge
, which is the right outcome, but they made me feel like it was my fault that the issue arose.

Again, the front desk personnel took off the
charge
, which also is the right outcome, but insinuated that I actually had made the phone call and was lying about it.

As a result, I had to have my little brother
charge
the room to his credit card, and then I sent him a check.

I pointed out that if she was willing to
charge
my credit card if I cancelled the reservation, then it seemed silly to refuse to
charge
my credit card for the stay, particularly if I faxed her a signed authorization to do so.
