1. The location is absolutely perfect for walking to dinner on the pier (highly recommend the Shellfish Company) or going down to State Street for shopping or drinks.

2. All staff were exceptionally kind and helpful--- They gave us a late check out, upon our request; they opened the gift shop for us before opening time to accomodate us; etc. The food at Eliado's (breakfast) and room service (dinner) was very good, as was the service.

3. When I asked the front desk on two separate occasions for help with dinner reservations or ideas about some activities in the area, they suggested to look at fliers in the back of the inn and otherwise gave me a blank stare.

4. The hotel staff was helpful and attentive- they set up our wine tour with Captain Jacks and helped us pick a great restaurant (Downey's) for an excellent dinner.

5. Despite the short power outtage just as we check in (the manager generously offered to move us to another hotel if power wasn't restored after our dinner), we loved this hotel.
