1. free shuttle to Sea World twice a day, spent some time in Old Towne SD too, very cool and some great places to dine.

Amenities - a very good hotel shop, helpful reception and conceriege, business centre, fed ex package handling, hotel shuttle - very helpful and individualised service, great value on zoo and sea world tickets (prices similar but many additional perks included esp sea world multi entry)Why not 5 stars - well it's just a little old, the choices are just a little limited compared to modern resort hotels esp in the Middle East and Asia, but the staff make up for all of this - it deserves a 4.5 rating.

6. No shuttle and no restaurants close by, but for a 10-15 dollar taxi ride, you can go to Old Town for some great Mexican food or Little Italy for some great Italian food.

Once we were on the shuttle, the driver announced he was going to take someone to the airport and we would 'get a tour of San Diego' So, once underway, instead of turning right for a 3 minute drive to the Sea World entrance (again, very close to the hotel), the driver decided to turn left and drove me and two other guests who also got on the shuttle to go to SeaWorld, all the way to the San Diego airport to drop off a fourth passenger who wasn't in any particular hurry to get to the airport.
