5. The valet staff was outstanding -- really set the tone for the hotel and it was great not having to wait at all - they were very quick retrieving cars, good with directions, recommendations etc. Rooms were nice, great beds, nice bathroom.

6. By and large, the valets were professional, but the newbies were clearly new and slowed the others down asking questions and generally getting in the way.

7. I was traveling for 2 days getting to SD and must have looked as frazzled as I felt when I finally arrived at the hotel and everyone treated me like a queen - from the valet guys all the way through to check-in - these folks could not do enough to help me out.

8. The valet/bellmen were extremely busy with a great number of vehicles but did a great job of hustling and keeping organized despite the large amount of traffic due to the tournament.
