7. great location, great staff, only a few things that distract from excellence: lobby under construction, some protests or demonstrations just outside the hotel entrance, long waits for elevators (they could easily double the number for the size of the hotel), large screen televisions in rooms but no HD channels; overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to downtown San Diego with no hesitation.

10. aside from the contruction going on for the 'facelift' of the lobby, had a good experience- bartenders were nice and informative, room/bed was comfortable (reccommend joining SPG for better room assignments) - good location for dining/entertainment on 4th and 5th streets and accessable to rail services- inexpensive cab ride to/from airport.
