4. The hotel wasn't in the most happening neighborhood, but after running around ALL day I liked the peacefulness of going to the little neighborhood dive bar visible from the front entrance and then eating their awesome tortilla soup on the quiet section of the Riverwalk.

7. Very clean overall and right on the river walk, but you'll need to walk about a mile to get to the heart of the river walk, something to keep in mind if you walk back to the hotel after dark because the path is not always well lit and the nearby neighborhood is a bit questionable.

8. My wife and I made the walk once but therafter we made a lot of $5 cab rides to avoid being exposed to the adjacent neighborhoods.
