Although the rooms need some attention (you can definitely find a bit of peeling wallpaper and such), they are acceptable and we were lucky to have one with a balcony overlooking the pool (which I thought was supposed to be extra---bonus!) The hotel is located on the north end of the riverwalk so you have to walk 10-15 minutes to get to the heart of things.

10. Other issues-- my room was over the carport in front of the hotel and I could hear the tropical music all night long, even with the balcony door closed.
