1. Parking, by the way is just $8 per night or so and in a parking garage across the street (only you can judge your comfort level with that), it was okay for us.

3. With a brand new Marriott right across the street, you`d think the staff would have been motivated to offer a better level of service, not a level that makes their guests wish they`d been put up in the neighboring hotel.

4. Jennifer Melfi getting brutally raped in a parking garage, just like the one across the street from your hotel, where I was supposed to park my car.

5. Oh, and there would be the 2 1/2 star Clarion (don't buy any rating higher than that), or if you're on a bidding site, the NCSU Doubletree on Hillsborough Street will pop up as 3 1/2.

6. My only complaint and its a minor one is the Hotel parking is across the street from the Hotel so loading and unloading wasnt the easiest and if you had to run to your car it was a journey.

We could have walked to any and every event of the weekend: Rehearsal Dinner at a fine Italian restaurant across the street, ceremony at the Cathedral a few blocks away, photos around the State Capital near that, reception at the Marbles Children's Museum a few blocks away, and surrounded by exciting festivals all the while.
