1. We usually stay in chain hotels like Hampton Inn or Country Inn and Suites where you are pretty much guaranteed a standard of service for a reasonable price.

2. It is within walking distance to all the local bars, restaurants, theaters, etc. Unfortunately, you do have to pay $6.00 for parking but, considering the 'city' location, that's a good price.

5. I didn't have great expectations for the place but for one night with friends it was a clean comfortable stay with a helpful staff (provided us menu for late night delivery places) I would definitely come back again even with the rather steep price but understandable for the great location right near the raleigh convention center and near a lot of other great weekend downtown activities.

8. I also got a good package deal on airfare + room through a travel service, so I'm giving four stars because what we got for the price (around 100 dollars for one night) in addition to the location was worth it.

9. Overall I might consider staying again if the price was cheap and I needed to be in this area for courthouse business or a downtown event, but some more amenities like a safe in the room, and a minibar, and a better bathroom, would be welcome.
