5. The valet did tell me that there was more affordable self-park garage parking directly across the street ($17), but there were no in-and-out privileges - each time you leave, it is another $17 to park again.

Before we could even get out of our car, the valet was already there to open the door and welcome us and help with our luggage, etc. From that point forward all through our stay, everyone we encountered in the hotel absolutely knocked themselves out to be helpful and friendly (in a warm & friendly way --- not in any way obnoxious).
