5. Every staff member we encountered, from valet attendants to housekeeping, bartenders at daily Manager's Reception happy hour, and most especially the amazing front desk associate Jackie Hillhouse who bent over backwards to make us feel welcome, were super-friendly and helpful.

7. Cons: As a converted apartment building (or so I was told) the elevators are woefully inadequate; each morning you will wait, and wait, and then share your elevator with the entire housekeeping staff.

That being said, there were some problems: the free buffet breakfast served at the attached TGI Friday's was a complete zoo, and if you don't get there early it's crowded, dirty and there may be no tables, forks, spoons, cups or plates available; there was some kind of construction or renovation going on in the room either above or next door, and during the day you could hear it; on-site parking is overpriced at $44/day; you can wait a long time for the elevators; housekeeping seems to be understaffed since they didn't get to our room the first night we were there.
