4. We had friendly, welcoming employees for valet parking, a great receptionist (thank you Diane), excellent service in the restaurant for dinner (a young Asian guy whose name slipped my memory - he was very friendly and attentive), and very good breakfast service at Pompano's (Martha was just great).

5. The hotel provides decent services that you need and there's a Wallgreens close by -- which we found handy for picking up snacks to bring in to the park.

8. Stayed at the Doubletree for 6 nights at the end of FebruaryGranted, they greet you with a warm cookie, they offer great customer service and they are well located 10-15 min walk to entrance of Universal.

9. In addition to this the internet was not free ($10 for 24 hours) or you could make the long trek to the lobby, and sit on the floor, for free service.

10. We called the hotel back and once I was on the phone with the same lady I had talked to before I said 'I want to re-reserve the room we dropped because if we have to pay for one night we might as well pay for two' she then sighed and sent the call off to a very friendly customer service person.
