1. This being our first trip to Mardi Gras, we knew that we wouldn't be spend much time in our room because we wanted to take in the entire Mardi Gras/New Orleans experience, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel.

3. While she was sweet about telling us how inexpensive the rides were, and how the money machine works (doesn't give change), and how they become less frequent as the night gets late .
